According to the tag on the amulet, the pieces were found in grid number N13E2. On the map, this is in the end of tunnel 2.

I'm having trouble with the special hieroglyphics in tunnel 3.

Treat the symbols like a cryptogram. Use context clues to determine the text. If you are playing on Amateur Sleuth, Jon Boyle's notes will get you started.

Here is the text of the hieroglyphics:
Come ye hither gods in the train of Horus
And let the steps ascend
We are the four of Horus
I am the air that sweeps up the Nile
I am the hunter who faces to greet the new day
I am Imsety protector of the South
I am the cry that soars towards the setting sun
Together we the gods in the train of Horus guard the corners.

The goal is to have a complete set of blue tiles on the bottom. Blue tiles are only revealed when there is one type of glyph in each column.
Here are the answers for both levels of gameplay:

Use the lamp that is mounted on the wall in the tomb - to the right as you exit the tomb.
You'll need lamp oil (taken from the water tank) and a lighter (taken from Jon Boyle's trunk).
Once you've done that, you need to light the entire room by moving the mirrors:

Place the spears (found in the tomb) and the plank (found near the collapsed scaffolding) into the hole in the sarcophagus lid and pry it off.

You must match each scarab to its correct color square.
The key is deciding which scarab to move to its square first.
For Amateur sleuth, the order is: Red, Green, Black, White
For Master sleuth, the order is: Red, Black, White, Green

Place the four disks (taken from the tomb) into their proper locations based on the first hieroglyphics you translated: Baboon on top, jackal on the right, human on the bottom, falcon on the left.

The goal is to create steps with the columns so that you can reach the opening at the top of the tomb. Rotate the tokens in the following order: Falcon, Falcon, Falcon, Baboon, Human

To open the first coffin, you must first complete the four sons of Horus puzzle. Once you have done this, view the mural in the room you can now access.

You must correctly enter Nefertari's children into the sarcophagus. Here is the order:

To open the bag, you need to look at the SPIED pamphlet in the supply tent and the book on amulets.
Note the numbers from the SPIED pamphlet - 16, 8, 4, 32.
See the wedjat (eye of Horus) has special numbers assigned to it.
Use this information to press the portions of the eye in the correct order:

You must first get a scrap of paper from Dylan which goes with Jamila's note.
Put these two together and you have a puzzle to solve.
There are words hidden in each group of letters. Place each missing letter where it belongs to spell Egypt-themed words.
Here are the missing letters:

Amateur Sleuth:
First Column: M, P, L, R, I, Y, N, U
Second Column: E, G, A, O, S, T, C, B

Master Sleuth:
First Column: B, M, I, P, S, Y, O, U
Second Column: T, N, C, G, L, R, A, E

From there, rearrange the letters as follows: Blue cat opens tomb

Choose boulders on the outside, rather than in the middle, so that Dylan can be freed.
Below is one solution:

Fill the lamp to the left with oil (taken from the water tank) and use the lighter (taken from Jon's trunk) to light it.
Then use the mirrors to light the entire room:

The tiles are in the following locations:

In the antiquities tent
On the wall mural in tunnel 2 (pry it loose with the pickaxe)
In front of the golden sarcophagus

The papyrus sheets in the empty sarcophagus tell you how the cobras must be arranged. To get them to their proper places, click on them in this order:

Amateur Sleuth: red, purple, gold, green, blue, gold, purple, red, blue, green, purple, gold, red, blue, green.

Master Sleuth: red, blue, green, red, blue, purple, green, purple, blue, red, gold.

How do I cross the stones to reach the golden sarcophagus?

Make sure you have translated the hieroglyphs on the statue to the left: The path lies in destiny.
Call Professor Hotchkiss and ask her about the riddle.
Nefertari's cat's name meant "destiny." Choose the hieroglyphs that spell out the cat's name:

When you tell Abdullah about the golden sarcophagus, he will leave to see it. Take his keys and open the trunk.
If Lily is in the tent, tell her Abdullah needs her and she'll leave, giving you a free chance to snoop around.

Take a good look at the bird mural at the end of tunnel 2. Cross reference that with the clue given to you in the journal entry.
Press the birds in this order:

Make sure you have completed the bird puzzle. Take note of everything in the new tunnel: The footprints, rhinestone, and number panel. Compare the rhinestone to Lily's sunglasses and ask her about it.

Make sure you have both number panels: One from Jamila, one in the passageway you opened when you solved the bird puzzle.
To open the trunk, you need to fill in all the squares while satisfying their number requirements. Click and drag in any direction to make lines, squares, and rectangles.

Ask Lily about the symbols on the Senet board game in the tent. Take Jon's missing notes from her trunk.
Combine the symbols with Jon's notes and you will learn the order in which to press the symbols: Ankh, falcon, eye of Horus, 3 dots, wavy lines.

Rotate the squares to create bridges. A bridge will appear when the colors on the end two squares match.
Note: You can rotate the squares both clockwise and counterclockwise. This will be handy when you are trying to beat the culprit.
